Employee Spotlight

Andy BegnocheThis month our employee spotlight shines on Andy Begnoche. Often in our employee and voice talent spotlights we are introducing you to a new member of the HOLDCOM family, Andy is celebrating his 17th year here (no that’s not a typo). Often called the original employee, Andy joined HOLDCOM back in 1990 when we were still called On Hold Productions.

Andy’s background in radio was what brought him to the industry in the first place. After selling and producing Message-On-Hold programs for a handful of his own clients, his path crossed with HOLDCOM’s and the rest is history.

Initially brought on to provide script consultation, HOLDCOM quickly found that Andy could handle many areas from IT & Tech Support to Sales & Marketing. Today Andy is our Director of Operations and oversees our reseller and partner development.

Andy still gets excited when talking about the business. He’s proud of the impressive client list that he’s help grow and looks forward to the new technologies HOLDCOM is imploring to spread the word about audio marketing.

When Andy is not chasing his 5 children around he keeps himself busy with his ongoing home improvements and his passion for collecting digital music. Andy enjoys cooking, entertaining, watching movies with his family and going to the beach.

In fact, one cardiologist found that listening to classical music for 30 minutes produced calming effects equivalent to a 10 mg dose of valium. All You Need Is Love... err... Communication, dun,du,du,du,dum.

It's been a rough summer in this part of the universe (not business, but almost everything else), and the two things I've learned, I already knew... you can't control anything (which is not really helpful information in this context), and communication, honest communication can help avoid and solve a lot of problems. Conversely, poor communication, or dishonest, agenda-driven communication can spawn a lot of problems. From everyday communication with co-workers, to deeper felt interaction with loved ones, there will always be a premium on thinking clearly, and expressing those thoughts and feelings, forthrightly (I love that word).
