Case Study - Thayer Lodging Group Communicates with Character

The Challenge: Thayer Lodging Group wanted to give a creative, interactive presentation highlighting its nationwide conference centers to businesses. Presentation Audio for Hospitality-Case Study-Thayer Lodging Group-laptop at conferenceThayer created a PowerPoint presentation with a “Gold Rush” theme that referenced the Old West, complete with an interactive map of the group's conference centers.

The Solution: Holdcom’s team of script writers, producers, and voice talent were able to write and record a script that, like the presentation, referenced the Old West and Gold Rush Era. A character voice was used to achieve an authentic western accent, and the script included expressions like “y’all,” which further helped transport the audience into the Old West. The script encouraged the attendees to “explore” the conference center map and search for “gold”—special promotions hidden within the map, like passes for free meals.
