Virtual Banking Success

The Challenge:

Net Bank, a financial institution with no brick-and-mortar locations, needed voice prompts for an IVR system that would efficiently and accurately route callers to customer service representatives. As a virtual institution, Net Bank needed to ensure their telephone system effectively served customers and had a human touch.

The Holdcom Solution:

Holdcom recorded voice prompts using professional voice over talents. These voice prompts were scripted to clearly direct telephone callers to appropriate departments. By using professional voices instead of synthetic speech, the IVR system was more personal for clients to use. Transitioning from Old to New

The Challenge: On their 70th anniversary, First Financial Federal Credit Union changed its name. For long time customers, the name change could be startling. For recent account holders, a name change might be unsettling. First Financial needed to ease the transition from old to new for all of its valuable clients.

The Holdcom Solution: When First Financial went live with their new name, Holdcom was by their side. Holdcom's Message On Hold services played an integral part in helping First Financial promote awareness of their new name. The credit union used Holdcom's services to support current promotions and alert members of upcoming changes. In addition to their name change, First Financial celebrated with 70th anniversary by holding a drawing to win a brand new Honda Accord. How was the word spread? Award Winning Advertisements

The Challenge: The Provident Bank, a Holdcom Message On Hold client, wanted to record radio commercials that were consistent with the bank’s image and other audio marketing. Their advertising firm, The Marcus Group, Inc., turned to Holdcom for help.

The Holdcom Solution: Use The Marcus Group’s penchant for writing inspired scripts to create radio ads using voice talents similar to the ones already voicing The Provident Bank’s audio marketing programs. Holdcom produced two advertisements that ran on radio stations in New York and New Jersey and received top advertising awards:

  • JASPER Award from the Jersey Shore Public Relations & Advertising Association
  • Summit Creative Award -- an international competition,
  • Davey Award – recognizing the best “big ideas” from small agencies
