The Challenge • Create a Japanese version of a major biotech company video. • Transcribe CEO’s speech, translate and record in Japanese. • Synchronize audio by using timed recording process. The Solution • Holdcom submits English transcription to one of its highly capable translation partners, who recommends a “back translation” due to the technical content of script. • Authentic Japanese voice talent delivers a “timed recording” track to match duration of CEO’s English speech. • Holdcom’s Post Production team edits and mixes soundtrack to synchronizes with video.

The Challenge • BELL ATLANTIC MOBILE was about to become the largest cellular phone provider in the world. • It’s merger/acquisition involving several companies, including GTE, PRIMECO, and AIRTOUCH, allowed for no unity of message until a major branding campaign came into place. • Seamless, national dissemination and promotion of the new brand: VERIZON. The Solution • On the day of the press release announcing the new name, all Message on Hold systems were updated with the now familiar phrase: "welcome to Verizon." • Today, HOLDCOM delivers Message On Hold programs to over 1000 VERIZON WIRELESS retail stores, call centers, and corporate offices.
